Texas Strong

In 2017, Hurricane Harvey devastated Texas and Louisiana, leaving destruction across the Gulf Coast. While major cities received widespread coverage and relief, many smaller towns were left struggling to recover on their own. I set out to tell the story of Port Aransas, Texas, and highlight how a community came together to rebuild in the aftermath.

As the director, editor, and organizer, I oversaw every aspect of the project: planning and conducting interviews, working closely with locals, shooting and editing footage, and shaping the narrative into a compelling short documentary. The experience demonstrates my ability to approach a complex project holistically, manage multiple roles, and craft stories that resonate emotionally with an audience.
Spare
Writer
Spare is a short film created during a 48 Hour Film Festival in 2024, where teams race to write, shoot, and edit a complete film in a single weekend. On Friday night we were handed a prompt and a set of restrictions; by Sunday evening, our finished film had to be submitted.

As the scriptwriter, I had only hours to craft a story that met the requirements while still delivering something memorable and engaging. The fast pace demanded quick creative thinking, adaptability, and seamless teamwork. It gave me the chance to prove how effectively I can shape narrative under pressure and within tight constraints.
Video Editor
The Kiwi Kit is an online service designed to help people relocate to New Zealand, offering a wide range of tools and resources. A central feature of the product is a series of video modules; a step-by-step guide that walks clients through every stage of the relocation process.

As an editor and designer, I shot and edited over three hours of educational video content, ensuring each module was clear, accessible, and engaging. I also created logos, decals, and on-screen graphics that reinforced the brand identity and kept the material visually dynamic. This work required me to structure complex information into a logical, well-paced flow, maintain consistency across multiple assets, and design content that held the audience’s attention
